Programme Quality Model

New Opportunities Fund are responsible for the distribution of Lottery funds to Education, Health and Environmental projects across the UK. Effective Project Management of grant programmes had become an increasing priority. An initial 'health-check' review identified a number of areas for improvement. We jointly delivered an improvement programme, based on the findings, including the development of the NOF Programme Quality Model (PQM).

A highly participative approach was taken designed to engage effectively with managers and staff at all levels. We developed the NOF PQM, which now provides an innovative self-assessment model used to establish benchmarks for improvement in project management practices.

This resulted in a complete programme management end to end lifecycle, designed to be business not methodologically driven; compliance with the PRINCE2 standard and consistency with Balanced Scorecard were key aims.

We delivered a comprehensive Programme Management end-to-end lifecycle. The resulting processes and procedures will map directly to the business processes.
