Business Analysis
Business analysis helps an organisation to improve how
it conducts its functions and activities in order to reduce overall
costs, provide more efficient use of resources, and better support customers.
It introduces the notion of process orientation, of concentrating
on and rethinking end-to-end activities that create value for customers,
while removing unnecessary, non-value added work. All our consultants

Benefit Modelling and Measurement
By working with the client and helping them to model the benefits that a particular project or programme is to achieve it is then possible to design suitable measurement techniques. The implementation of these techniques will help people understand how well they are doing against their targets and, so long as measures are appropriate and targets realistic, it should provide the motivation to continuously improve.
System Specification
Working with the client we can produce a system specification to identify in detail the requirements of a system that is needed in order to meet the vision of the organisation. Our consultants have an impressive track record of working with clients and stakeholders to help identify business problems and propose solutions and then subsequently performing a liaison function between the business side of an enterprise and the information technology department or external service providers.
DSDM/Agile
The IBS team contains consultants who are experienced in working in and running DSDM / Agile projects for its clients. Additionally, BASIS is a member of the DSDM consortium.
System Implementation
After a client has decided on which system it wishes
to implement, our consultants are able to provide the necessary support
to help set-up and install the new system. This includes helping
with the designing of test plans and models to ensure that the new system
meets the requirements of the business, conducting testing and
liaison with the system suppliers, data verification, validation
and load and training staff in the use of the new system.
